This excursion is a day trip to the beautiful and natural Ouzoud Waterfalls in the foot of the Atlas Mountains. Once arrived you will have the opportunity to trek around the waterfalls, ride a boat around the waterfall or trek for a longer duration of around two hours to reach the waterfall. In addition, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine.

This excursion will start early and will conclude in the evening with either a 45 min trek or for those who wish to trek further, then a 3.5hrs trek.

Depending on your fitness level, some experience may be required, however this popular trip is low level and will not require intense experience but time to enjoy and relax around the natural surroundings. This trip is particularly popular for the whole family all year.

How old do I need to be – are there any age restrictions? We recommend the minimum age for this adventure is 5 years old with parental supervision depending on their health and ability. Please feel free to get in touch should you wish to discuss further.
Do I need to arrange my own flights?

 

 Yes, everything required for the excursion is included except international flights. You will be collected early on the morning by our transport and taken to the first meet up location. You will also be taken back to the Medina following the excursion.
What equipment do I need? Appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for hiking in temperatures from -2C to +19C in winter, +12 to +30 in summer and you can expect -15 on summit days with windchill.
Am I fit enough? This excursion will include some walking to the waterfall including around one hour. Once arrived there will be less walking and more exploring with many breaks and stops.
