This excursion is to the slightly cooler and beautiful coastline of Essaouira city from Marrakech. This excursion will be over 6-days and 5-nights and providing you with a week trekking and camping from Marrakech through Berber villages to Essaouira.
You will start in Timzguida Oftas and will trek pass the remarkable villages of Ikniouen, Tagant, Laplage, Sidi Kaouki and before reaching Essaouira. Overnight stays will be in the lovely destinations such as Timzguida Oftas, Tafedna, Iftan, M’Barek and Essaouira. Not only will you have the opportunity to travel to Essaouira with lower intensity trekking through rural lands, you will also have the opportunity to travel through various villages experiencing the life outside of the bustling Marrakech. There is the option to include horse riding in some of the trekking routes.
This excursion will include approx. 26 hrs of trekking over the course of 6 days suiting those who enjoy scenic views, trekking and on occasions, hiking, on variable terrains. Depending on your fitness level, some experience may be required, however no intense experience or training required.
N.B. Overnight accommodation: Overnight accommodation will be camping in tent or local. This option will depend on the season and the weather conditions. Experiences that include camping will include the tent materials and mattresses.
