This excursion is our seven-day six-nights providing you with a great route with great locations for a week in the Atlas Mountains crossing many villages and living the Berber life.
You will start in Imi Oughlad and will trek pass the remarkable villages of Imsker, Amssakrou, Ikiss, Tamgist and Wanskra. You will also pass Likemt, Igran, Tizi N’Ouanoums and Chamharouch before reaching Imlil. Overnight stays are located in the incredible villages of Imsker, Amgdoul, Azib Tiwona, Amsouzart, and the Toubkal Refuge. Not only will you live the sensational traditions through the various Berber villages and dine with the local, you will also be at great altitudes giving you an epic 360 view from the summit of Jbel Toubkal – during sunrise too if you like.
This excursion will include approx. 42 hrs of trekking over the course of seven days and may suit hikers and mountaineers who enjoy such expeditions and challenges, enjoy epic scenic views and aspire to reach the summit in a shorter duration while ensuring some hiking experiences in such altitudes with steep terrains.
N.B. Overnight accommodation: Overnight accommodation is generally either tent or the local refuge/guest house. These options will depend on the season and the weather conditions. Experiences that include camping will include the tent materials and mattresses.
Following your excursion, there is the additional opportunity to stay or dine in our sister guest house in Imlil for those who wish to relax and explore even further either prior or following their trekking expedition.
